Pradeep Kumar is MA Economics from Delhi School of Economics, Univ of Delhi and MBA(Finance) from Faculty of management Science, Univ. of Delhi. Pradeep Kumar started his career as Grade B Officer in Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai. Thereafter he joined Indian Revenue Service in 1987.

Worked with Income tax Department and Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Had been on the Board of directors of two public sector banks. Also worked as Private Secretary to Cabinet Minister, Government of India. Had been CEO and Whole-time director in India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited, a leading infrastructure finance company of Govt of India (2009-2012). He resigned from Service in 2012.

He is in consulting space since 2012 in e-governance and financial sector with specialization in infrastructure financing. Had been on board of various Indian and Japanese companies.
